THE TEAM NEWS

LONDON BRONCOS

Head Coach: Danny Ward

Squad: Abdull, Adebiyi, Battye, Butler, Cunningham, Dixon, Fleming, Fozard, Hellewell, Ioane, Kear, Krasniqi, Lamb, Mason, Pitts, Richards, Walker, Williams, Yates

Unavailable: Eloi Pelissier, Morgan Smith, Ryan Morgan

  • London secured a huge win in their quest to stay up as they were too good for an under-strength St. Helens team but need to back that up here as they host a Salford side who have won their last two.

  • The Broncos have made a significant move in the transfer market by signing halfback Brock Lamb from Sydney Roosters and he could debut here after he was named in the 19-man squad.

  • London have also signed Guy Armitage from rugby union but he will have to wait to make his debut whilst Nathan Mason is back in the squad and replaces Matty Gee with Sam Davis also making way.

SALFORD RED DEVILS

Head Coach: Ian Watson

Squad: Bibby, Burke, Dudson, Evalds, Flanagan, Hastings, Inu, J. Johnson, Jones, Lannon, Lolohea, Lussick, McCarthy, Mossop, Olpherts, Tomkins, Walker, Welham

Unavailable: Ed Chamberlain, George Griffin, Ben Nakubuwai, Ken Sio, Ryan Lannon

  • Salford made it back-to-back wins as they boosted their play-off hopes with a big win over top 5 rivals Catalans last time out and will hope to make it three in a row as they head to bottom side London.

  • The Red Devils appear to be in rude health and look particularly strong in the outside backs with plenty of competition for places and have added Greg Johnson to the squad this week to give them another option on the edges.

  • On-loan Ryan Lannon makes way in the only change to Ian Watson’s 19-man squad and he is likely to be the only change to the matchday 17 with the head coach having several alternatives to replace him in the side.

THE PREDICTION

If London are to stand any chance of staying up, they must win their home games and this is a big one for them. Salford are a good team on their day and have produced solid back-to-back displays but can also be inconsistent and if they do not turn up, London must capitalise to claim a vital win. This could go either way and will very much depend on which Salford side take to the field and although they have performed well in their last two, their momentum could have been disrupted by the week off which could see London edge it.
