THE PREDICTION
Sydney Roosters produced a strong performance to get the better of bitter rivals South Sydney Rabbitohs last week and with that success, they earned home advantage for this clash in the finals as the pair do battle once again. The Roosters made it eight straight wins with that victory and their form is difficult to ignore having perfectly timed their run to the finals. They have suffered a huge blow with the loss of star centre Joey Manu to a calf injury but Victor Radley’s return at lock is a big boost. For the Rabbitohs, they will have rake Damien Cook back on deck after overcoming COVID but with his side lacking consistency of late with just three wins from their last six, they will need to be much-improved here. The Rabbits are certainly capable of prevailing and will not be dwelling on last week’s loss but the Roosters have been superb of late and are favoured to advance in this contest.
