THE PREDICTION

St. George Illawarra Dragons avoided a third straight loss as they recorded a superb win over Manly Sea Eagles to keep their top eight hopes well and truly alive. The Dragons did a great job on their rivals and will be full of confidence having won their last seven home games. They face a tough task to keep that run going as they host an impressive North Queensland Cowboys outfit and the road team will have a point to prove after they suffered an almighty scare in their clash with Wests Tigers last week, claiming a controversial win after the hooter. That made it 11 wins from their last 13 games for the Cows and while the Dragons will be tough to beat on home soil, the visitors are given the slight edge in this one owing to their prolonged run of eye-catching form.
