THE PREDICTION
New South Wales levelled the State of Origin series at one game apiece with a convincing victory in Perth and they start game 3 as big favourites. Their cause has been helped further ahead of this decider with Queensland losing arguably their best player in Cameron Munster after the five-eighth was ruled out because of a positive COVID-19 test. He will miss out along with Murray Taulagi with the Maroons forced into a reshuffle that sees Corey Oates return to the Origin arena while Tom Dearden will debut. Home advantage could well prove crucial for Queensland having won 37 of 58 games at Suncorp but the Blues will be on a high after a stunning game 2 performance and they should be able to cover the -7.5 in light of Munster’s absence.
