THE PREDICTION

Newcastle Knights fell to their third defeat in-a-row as they were downed by a classy Sydney Roosters outfit. The Knights couldn’t overcome the early loss of key man Kalyn Ponga and his concussion issues have ruled him out of this contest and beyond. The Knights have struggled all year and could face another defeat here as they host a resurgent Canterbury Bulldogs side that made it three wins from their last five with a victory over Gold Coast Titans last week. The Dogs are playing some good stuff under interim boss Mick Potter and they have to be fancied to prevail once again.
