- Gold Coast Titans were right in the game after 30 minutes of their contest with Melbourne Storm last week but they failed to score a single point after Ash Taylor converted Brian Kelly’s 27th minute try and conceded 36 unanswered points.
- The Titans made 13 errors which led to them having just 44% of possession and that was evident later in the game as Melbourne piled the points on with big improvements needed here in what will be another tough contest.
- In a boost for the Titans, they are able to call upon both Dale Copley and captain Kevin Proctor after the pair recovered from injuries while Jai Whitbread is also handed a call-up with Treymain Spry, Beau Fermor and Sam Lisone dropping off.

- Penrith Panthers made hard work of their game with North Queensland Cowboys but an impressive individual display from Nathan Cleary helped guide his side to the top of the ladder which is where they will return with another victory in this contest.
- The Panthers failed to hit the heights of their superb showing against Cronulla Sharks as they struggled to break the Cowboys’ defence down but their pressure eventually told to seal the two competition points.
- It may be tough going for the Panthers this week after losing a quartet of players to injury with Api Koroisau, Dean Whare, Dylan Edwards and Viliame Kikau all ruled out so Caleb Aekins, Malakai Watene-Zelezniak, Mitch Kenny and Matt Burton all come into the side.
THE PREDICTION
Penrith Panthers can return to the top of the NRL ladder at the end of Round 11 if they see off Gold Coast Titans in this Sunday afternoon clash but they will have to overcome some significant injury woes if they are to do so. The Panthers will be without four players from last week’s contest and the Titans will hope they can exploit any weaknesses in their side. It would be a surprise if Penrith failed to win having performed so well in 2020 thus far but the Titans should be able to keep things tight and they are the pick with a +16 point start.
