Roma vs Porto Prediction
At the Dragao last week, Roma took the lead in first-half stoppage-time via Turkey international right-back Zeki Celik before Francisco Moura equalised mid-way through the second-half and then that aforementioned Cristante red card in the 72nd minute of the match.
Claudio Ranieri has helped Roma become much-improved since he came out of retirement to become their third permanent manager of the campaign in November. The Giallorossi have since edged past Parma by a goal to nil at the Ennio Tardini thanks to a stunning 33rd minute red card scored by Matias Soule.
Porto, on the other hand, continued their underwhelming campaign in the first season of the Andre Vilas-Boas presidency. The Dragons were most recently edged past ten-man strugglers Farense at Estadio Algarve at the weekend to mean they have only scored more than one goal in a game on just one occasion in ten matches across all competitions in 2025.
Roma, as mentioned, have been much-improved of late and they will expect to overcome what is a Porto side approaching something of a crisis at the Stadio Olimpico this week.
