Rodolfo Vieira: Jiu-jitsu star looking to make it three wins in a row
Rodolfo Vieira (10-2) is coming off two Performance of the Night displays and the Brazilian will be hoping to make it three in a row. The submission specialist has won 10 of his 12 professional MMA fights and has stopped his opponent in all 10 wins submitting nine of them. There will be no secrets as to his the Jiu-jitsu star will be approaching this fight.
Andre Petroski: Wrestler steps in as replacement with six weeks’ notice
Andre Petroski (12-3) has won his last two fights picking unanimous decision wins over Josh Fremd and then Dylan Budka last time out. He was not initially scheduled for this fight as Jacob Malkoun was slated to fight Vieira but after his withdrawal, Petroski stepped up with six weeks’ notice to take on this fight.

This is a really intriguing bout in the middleweight division and it will be interesting to see how Andre Petroski approaches this one.
The wrestler is so often able to dominate his opponents and take them down to control his fights but will he want to take Vieira to the mat where the Brazilian is among the most dangerous in the division?
That may lead to more striking and stand up than we would expect and Petroski will fancy his chances as he arguably has the edge in power there.
Vieira is formidable however and he is a decent striker also. If the smallest of openings arises, the Brazilian will take full advantage and we just edge him to be able to do that over the three rounds at some point.
Petroski’s best chance is to grind out a decision win but it is just hard to see him evading Vieira for 15 minutes.
