Rob Cross vs Michael van Gerwen prediction

Rob Cross ended his three-game losing streak in the Premier League by defeating home-crowd favourite Stephen Bunting in one of last week's quarter-finals, but he then lost to Gerwyn Price in the last four, leaving him three points adrift of the playoff places heading into Birmingham.

Voltage is still yet to reach a final in the 2025 Premier League and he will likely need to break that duck soon if he is to break into the top four.

Michael van Gerwen has been another perennial semi-finalist in this year's event but also bowed out in the last four in Liverpool, firstly defeating Luke Littler before a 6-4 loss to Luke Humphries.

The Dutchman is very much in the playoff mix and has been playing the better darts of the two recently, so we're backing him to come through this quarter-final in what is only the second meeting between the pair in this year's event.
