Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is unavailable due to a groin injury and that is a blow because he has been one of the signings of the season so far this year.

Betis also have a few other injury concerns with William Carvalho sidelined, whilst the likes of Hector Bellerin, Marc Roca, Pablo Fornals and Chimy Avila are key doubts.

The Basque club have a few injury doubts for this one with Antonio Sivera unavailable, whilst loanee Luka Romero is a doubt alongside former Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan.

Real Betis vs Alaves Prediction

Real Betis come into this one on the back of a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Barcelona in the Copa del Rey in midweek. The Andalusians have been in indifferent form throughout the campaign and they were also beaten by then bottom-of-the-table Real Valladolid at Estadio Jose Zorrilla last weekend. They now face an Alaves side that took the controversial decision to sack Luis Garcia Plaza last month and the visitors remain winless since then, a six-game spell across all competitions since early December. Even though they have been inconsistent, Betis are still favourites for this one at the Benito Villamarin.
