RB Leipzig Preview: Energetic RB

RB Leipzig, with Marco Rose at the helm, started the season very well with some impressive results but performances did remain underwhelming. That led to a slip but they do remain tucked inside the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots ahead of the restart.

They come into this one on the back of a 5-1 annihilation at the hands of league leaders Bayern Munich a few weeks ago at the Allianz Arena. They have managed just three victories in their last 11 matches across all competitions.

Werder Bremen Preview: In-form Werder

Coached by Ole Werner, Werder Bremen begin the restart to the 2024/25 Bundesliga season sitting tucked inside the top seven and the European spots in the Bundesliga. They have been entertaining to watch, too, with their 15 matches consisting of 51 goals.

The visitors come into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering of Union Berlin before the break thanks to a brace from Marco Grull as well as goals by Mitchel Weiser and Jens Stage. They have enjoyed four successive victories ahead of this one.

RB Leipzig vs Werder Bremen Prediction

RB Leipzig have been frustrating to watch this season. They have an abundance of attackers such as Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko with a fair bit of depth in attacking areas, too. Werder Bremen have been of the most entertaining teams in an always entertaining league in Germany so they will fancy their chances of taking the game to Leipzig. As a result, both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one at the Red Bull Arena.
