RB Leipzig preview: Fortress RB
RB Leipzig may have suffered their first home defeat of the season on Wednesday, beaten by Premier League side Manchester City in the Champions League, they still remain perfect at the Red Bull Arena when it comes to domestic action.
So far, it's four Bundesliga games played and four won in front of the Leipzig faithful and Martin Demichelis's side need to stay on that path if they are to trouble Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table. With that in mind, anything other than victory against Augsburg would be considered a failure, especially given the visitors' rotten form.
Augsburg preview: Six without a win
After starting the new campaign so well, Augsburg have slumped badly of late and are yet to reach the 10-point mark after eight rounds of Bundesliga fixtures. That’s mainly down to a recent run of six league matches without a win.
The last of those was a 1-2 defeat to Freiburg last weekend, in a game Augsburg had led before coughing up their advantage after the break. Freiburg equalised in the 65th minute, before completing the turnaround with five minutes remaining.
RB Leipzig team news: Big concern over Nusa
RB Leipzig could be without a key player as winger and Norwegian international Antonio Nusa is battling a thigh issue, while Gebel, Guiu and Ouedraogo remain out.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vandevoordt; Henrichs, Orban, Castello, Raum; El Aynaoui, Banzuzi; Baumgartner, Nkunku, Gomis; Romulo

Questionable: Nusa (Injured)
Augsburg team news: Bah suspension adds to list of absentees
Augsburg being without the banned Juma Bah is another blow for Manuel Baum, who is already without Banks, Brackelmann, Breithaupt, Mounie and Sakar.
Predicted XI (3-4-3): Dahmen; Keitel, Gouweleeuw, Matsima; Fellhauer, Massengo, Rieder, Behrens; Kade, Gregoritsch, Ibrahimovic
Unavailable: Bah (Suspended), Banks (Injured), Brackelmann (Injured), Breithaupt (Injured), Mounie (Injured), Sakar (Injured)

Are RB Leipzig legitimate title contenders this season?
Open poll and resultsRB Leipzig vs Augsburg prediction
Even if Nusa isn't fit enough to feature, RB Leipzig have more than enough attacking depth to create plenty of opportunities against this Augsburg side. Playing in front of their own supporters, the confidence and comfort that radiates from Leipzig's side is there for all to see and they'll be expected to dictate proceedings.
Augsburg will no doubt work hard and fight to keep themselves in the game for as long as possible. However, as was the case against Freiburg, it will only get tougher as the match progresses and their resistance is likely to wear down in the second half. In the end, RB Leipzig's superior team should overpower the visitors, and win by at least two clear goals.
