Rangpur Riders threw away victory in their opening game vs Hampshire Hawks, eventually losing via a super over and have had a few days to reflect on the result. Zak Chappell was a top-performer in that game, the medium-fast bowler mixing up his pace and bowling well into the surface. Chappell’s five-wicket-haul justified coach Mickey Arthur’s move to bring him into the squad for this tournament and with the wind in his sails, it’s worth backing Chappell to add another 2+ wickets in this game.

It was a brilliant team effort from Victoria that saw them over the line against Guyana Amazon Warriors and once again they’ll hope for plenty of contributions here. Sanjay Krishnamurthi showed excellent power to hit two sixes batting at number three, scoring 24 runs overall.
