Randy Brown: Ruud Boy looking for fourth successive victory
Randy Brown (19-5) is riding a three-fight winning streak coming into UFC 310 and he will be desperate to make this number four. After overcoming Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos by unanimous decision at UFC 302 in June, and knocking out Muslim Salikhov in February before that, he now looks to win his third fight in 2024 against Bryan Battle.
Bryan Battle: Streaking Battle has lost just once in eight UFC fights
Bryan Battle (11-2 with one no contest) is enjoying a fantastic run of his own and other than a solitary loss to Rinat Fakhretdinov by unanimous decision, he has won six and had one no contest in eight UFC fights. He comes off a TKO win over Kevin Jousset just ten weeks ago and The Ultimate Fighter 29 winner will fancy his chances of picking up yet another win in the Octagon here.
Randy Brown vs Bryan Battle Prediction
This is a really fascinating bout in the UFC’s welterweight division as two in-form fighters meet in the Octagon at UFC 310.
Randy Brown is just a really solid competitor and he has been beating some quality opponents in recent times. He has lost just one fight in the last four years and he is still improving at the age of 34.
Bryan Battle was a late starter having only made his professional MMA debut in 2019 but he is making up for lost time. He does not possess the same calibre of opponent on his resume like Brown does, but he is picking up wins in impressive fashion.
Battle has more routes to victory that Brown does and all but two of his 11 wins have come via stoppages.
Brown should not be underestimated however and he will be incredibly motivated to win here. If he has to, he can grind out the wins and he has more experience than Battle in that department.
We fancy this goes the distance but we just edge Battle and his momentum right now. He can cause Brown plenty of troubles and Brown has been stopped four times previously. We are not sure that will happen here but we edge Battle to win.
Prediction: Bryan Battle to win
