Rafa Garcia vs Vinc Pichel Prediction

We have another two fighters coming off losses and both Rafa Garcia and Vinc Pichel will be desperate to get a win at UFC on ESPN 64 on Saturday.

Garcia lost to Grant Dawson in October as he was TKO’d in the second round but that loss had come after two wins over Hayisaer Maheshate and Clay Guida. The 30-year-old was scheduled to face Joaquim Silva at this event but after he withdrew, he was lined up to meet Vinc Pichel.

The 42-year-old Pichel has lost his last two fights as decisions went in favour of opponents Mark Madsen and Ismael Bonfim. That means he has not won a fight since 2021 and the veteran needs to step up here. This is only his third fight in almost four years and it is hard to see him turning the clock back at this point.

Garcia should have enough energy and spark to hand Pichel a third successive loss here. Stopping him is highly unlikely but we fancy Garcia just outworking Pichel and grabbing the decision.

Prediction: Rafa Garcia to win by decision
