Quentin Halys went through a gruelling five-set thriller in the first round, showing incredible resilience to come back from two sets down and beat home favourite Adam Walton. His reward is a showdown with his fellow countryman, who took out Otto Virtanen in four sets.

Fils is one of the most exciting young players at this tournament and his energy should serve him well across this game with Halys coming off the back of such a tough physical challenge in the first round.
