Contrasting form for the Eels ands the Bulldogs as the hosts have been miserable in their opening two matches while the visitors are flying high right now.

The Eels have some serious work to do defensively having conceded 88 points in their opening two matches. They will hand a debut to Josh Addo-Carr against his former team and they are hoping that he will be able to help the struggling team and they will have to improve significantly if they are to have any chance here.

The Bulldogs have had an outstanding start to the season but the only dampener has come in the form of two major injuries to Matt Burton and Viliame Kikau who are now set to be out long term. That will weaken them but they do have good strength in depth in their squad.

While the Eels will surely show a reaction and raise their game, it is still difficult to like them until we see a much-improved display. Until then, we have to go with the Bulldogs to continue their fine form.
