Head Coach Jason Lyles has made several changes for this week: Zac Lomax was originally named on the wing; he is now out for six weeks with a foot injury. Sean Russell moves to the wing in a backline switch, Bailey Simonsson would be the likely replacement for Lomax and start at centre. After a strong display against the Dragons, Ryley Smith will start at hooker and Charlie Guymer shifts to the bench. Veterans Ryan Matterson and Bailey Simonsson are among the reserves with Joash Papalii 18th man.

Fresh off a thrilling last-minute victory against the Cronulla Sharks, the Canberra Raiders seek a second straight victory against the Parramatta Eels. This match will be played in Darwin with temperatures around game time expected to be around 30 degrees.
The Parramatta Eels picked up their first win of the season last weekend thanks to a last-minute field goal from Zac Lomax. Parramatta have been one of the more disappointing teams in the NRL thus far and will be hoping that late resurgence can kick-start their season.
Canberra have dominated the matchup of late, winning three straight including two dominant wins last year. Darwin has not been a happy hunting ground for Parramatta in recent times, losing each of their last three matches in the top end by double digits.
