DOMINIK KOEPFER VS MATTEO ARNALDI PREDICTION
Dominik Koepfer fought his way through three tie-breaks in his clash with Milos Raonic to progress and the German will be buoyed by that win. He now faces Matteo Arnaldi, an Italian 23-year-old, who he has never met before.
Arnaldi overcame local favourite Arthur Fils in the first round in straight sets although it was never comfortable. Both players have his their highest ever ranking this year and come into this in solid enough form.
It is Arnaldi however who is favoured to progress. He is a little more well-rounded than the German and better suited to clay. That should just about give him the edge in what could be a tight match.
