With quite a strong squad, former Charlton Athletic boss Guy Luzon is under a bit of pressure in charge of Israel at this Olympics and that has grown after a frustrating 1-1 draw with Mali in their opener. Paraguay, on the other hand, were annihilated by five goals to nil against a slick and impressive Japanese side.

ISRAEL PREVIEW: TAKING ADVANTAGE
Coming into the tournament with some really exciting talents, such as Oscar Gloukh and Liel Abada, Israel would have perhaps been a little frustrated by beginning their campaign with just a point - but it does give them a platform to take advantage of against a poor Paraguayan side.
In that opening match against the Malians at the Parc des Princes in Paris, there were no goals at half-time before Israel took the lead through a Hamidou Diallo own goal but Mali equalised in the 63rd minute via Cheickna Doumbia.
PARAGUAY PREVIEW: STILL REELING
Paraguay U23 coach Jara Saguier will be coming under a fair bit of pressure with his Paraguayan side having some genuinely very exciting talents but being humiliated against Japan the other day. Enso Gonsalez was left on the bench, whilst Diego Gomes and Julio Enciso were both substituted.
With two of their overage players being defensive-minded in Fabian Balbuena and Gatito Fernandez, conceding five goals in their opener would not have been expected. Shunsuke Mito notched a brace, as did Shita Fuijo, with another goal being scored by Rihito Yamamoto.
ISRAEL VS PARAGUAY PREDICTION
Perhaps before the tournament, this one may have seemed like quite an even contest and there is still reason to believe that. Paraguay’s 5-0 hammering at the hands of Japan does come with the mitigation that they were down to ten men for well over an hour and the score was 1-0 until a second-half collapse. Israel, left frustrated by Mali, though, have the aforementioned quality in attack to expose a clearly week Paraguayan side but Paraguay will also not expect to be as toothless as they were given the talent they have.
