Spain knows this serves as a golden chance for them to make it through to the semi-finals and go within one win of a guaranteed Olympic medal. But at this stage, they must be eying up gold because their results so far have been that of potential champions. Having said that, critics would argue that they were dealt a fairly easy group on paper, facing Serbia, China and Puerto Rico.

Belgium snuck through as one of top-ranked third-place finishers in the group stage despite winning just one of their three matches played. However, their most notable showing came vs USA where Belgium showed that they can match-up against a superior squad on paper and cause them problems. Over the course of four quarters though, Spain have to be favoured to get the better of them.
