Germany’s quest for gold may have come to an untimely end, but the bronze medal is still there to be won. Serbia though, have aspirations of their own to win bronze and if they can put together a full four-quarter performance similar to what we saw in the semi-finals, then it’ll be tough for Germany to overcome them. Nikola Jokic was as brilliant as we’d expect against the USA, but Serbia in general just couldn’t handle the USA’s brilliance and relentless offensive play in the fourth quarter.

For Serbia to put up 91 points in the semi-finals, emphases how good they were, whilst Germany could only manage 69 in comparison. Jokic is obviously a clear difference-maker and therefore, Serbia to gain victory and thus the bronze medal is worth backing.
