Big things were expected of Germany pre-tournament and they haven’t let anybody down so far following a flawless group stage campaign. This emphasises the task that faces Greece and their ace in the pack, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has accounted for 81 points so far.
Whilst Antetokounmpo is a scoring machine, if any defence can shut the ‘Greek Freak’ down then you’d expect it to be Germany’s. Combine that with their proven attacking talent and all-round quality across the court, the expectation is that Germany will wind up too strong for Greece here.
