Germany’s resounding success over Japan by a margin of 20 points puts them in an excellent position in the group. The Wagner brothers combined for 37 of Germany’s 90 points and the pair will no doubt play key roles again vs Brazil, who have work to do if they wish to get out of their group after being beaten 78-66 by France.
However, you could argue that Germany are stronger opponents on paper than the French and after seeing them play vs Japan, the excitement over them is very much warranted. Whilst the margin of victory may not be as wide on this occasion, they are still expected to comfortably triumph.
