In arguably the most highly anticipated Group A encounter across the tournament, Australia were beaten 93-83 by Canada, with their defence unable to contain the formidable Canadians across the quarters. They’ll expect more joy on this front against bottom-placed Greece with the priority to isolate Giannis Antetokoumpo and shut him down as best as they can.

It’s clear that Greece are overly-dependant on their NBA superstar to make game-changing plays for them, but Basketball is a team game and other Greek players need to step up if they are to stand a chance against a team of Australia’s quality.
