Osasuna Preview: Pushing for Europe
After losing Jago Arrasate to Real Mallorca last summer, Osasuna would have been slightly concerned by being dragged into the relegation battle in La Liga this season but the Pamplona-based club have actually been entertaining as they chase European qualification.
The home team come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat away to Celta Vigo at Balaidos up in Galicia last weekend with Iago Aspas scoring a 69th minute penalty to hold them back into the bottom-half of the table ahead of this match day.
Valencia Preview: Battered last week
Following the appointment of West Bromwich Albion boss Carlos Corberan on Christmas Eve, Valencia have been much-improved as one of Spain’s biggest clubs continue to battle against the drop but they do remain tucked inside the bottom three.
They have suffered four defeats since his appointment but all four of those defeats have come against the top three in La Liga with their most recent outing being a 3-0 loss to title challenging Atletico Madrid at Mestalla last weekend.
Osasuna Team News: Fully fit
Unusually for any side in Europe’s big five leagues, Osasuna are blessed with a fully fit and available squad for this weekend ahead of the visit of Valencia to El Sadar with no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues.

Osasuna vs Valencia Prediction
The likes of Bryan Zaragoza and the ever-demanding Ante Budimir have made Osasuna a fairly potent and effective force throughout the campaign in attack, despite the fair and reasonable reservations with regards to manager Vicente Moreno. Valencia will seek to play on the counter-attack and will be confident in their ability to at least avoid defeat or cause problems given their much-improved form and both teams scoring with a surprisingly entertaining encounter would appear a good bet for this one in Navarre.
