Nuno Borges vs Zizou Bergs Prediction

Nuno Borges and Zizou Bergs meet once again just a few weeks since they last met in Auckland at the ASB Classic. They met in the semi-finals there and it was Bergs who won a three-setter 6-2 3-6 7-5 as he went on to finish runner-up.

That was their only previous meeting on the ATP Tour and Borges will be looking to avenge that loss here.

Borges had a really good test in the first round as he came up against inspired veteran Stan Wawrinka. The Portuguese number one just edged that in three sets and that will give him a boost coming into this test.

Bergs had a much easier match as he overcame Clement Zhidekh 6-4 6-4. After losing in the first round in the Australian Open and not playing since then, he has only had two matches in the last month so there may be a little rust on his side.

There is little to divide these two but it is Bergs who is considered the marginal favourite. We would slightly lean towards the value on Borges here but we would prefer the game betting and expect this to be another see-saw battle.
