North Queensland Cowboys vs Canberra Raiders Prediction

The Cowboys have endured a tough start to the season having lost all three matches so far but they have been somewhat unfortunate due to the quality of opponents they have faced so far. After being comprehensively beaten by the Sea Eagles and then the Sharks, they lost 26-16 to the Broncos last time out but it was an improved display.

They now face the Raiders who won their opening two matches but were unceremoniously hammered by the Sea Eagles 40-12 last weekend. That was something of a wake-up call for them and it will be interesting to see how that loss impacts them coming into this match.

Team news is pretty neutral and both teams are settled so both head coaches will be looking for improvements ahead of this match.

Our feeling around this match is that the Cowboys are trending in the right direction and could get off the mark here. There is little to choose between the two sides but with home advantage on their side, we just lean towards the Cowboys getting off the mark.
