The Prediction

The Sydney Swans will look for back-to-back wins for the first time this year when they take on the North Melbourne Kangaroos. The Swans have had one of the toughest draws to begin the season; a close loss to Hawthorn was followed by another narrow loss against the Brisbane Lions. They snatched a victory over in the West against the Dockers in round 2 before having a well-earned bye last week.

The Kangaroos on the other hand have been a little bit of jekyll and hyde this season. A narrow defeat to the Bulldogs in round 1 was followed up by a sensational ten-goal victory against the Demons. Last week they came back to earth at the hands of the Adelaide Crows suffering a six-goal defeat in Adelaide. Nick Larkey leads all goal kickers at the early point of the season, and he will once again be asked to carry the load for a North team that may find scoring against a well-drilled Swans team difficult.

The Swans have won eight straight against the Kangaroos and with game changers in every part of the ground, they are well-placed to add to their record.
