The prediction

After a win and a loss in the opening two games, North Melbourne have suffered heavy defeats to the Adelaide Crows and Sydney Swans. One of the shining lights has been Nick Larkey, who leads the early race for leading goal kicker with 14 majors.

The test for North will be no easier against the Gold Coast Suns who bring excellent form into this Gather Round matchup.

This is a match the Gold Coast Suns simply must win if they are to be judged serious contenders. Once again, they will lean heavily on their heavy possession getters Matt Rowell and Noah Anderson, complimented by Ben King (averaging four goals per game) upfront.

The Kangaroos have shown they can score points so they can expect some goal scoring opportunities to come, however they must ensure they are not wasteful in front of goal and capitalise on every opportunity.

Rowell is garnering plenty of attention as a potential Brownlow Medal favourite. Look for another 30+ possessions in a match that Gold Coast should win comfortably
