Nishesh Basavareddy vs Francisco Comesana Prediction

19-year-old American Nishesh Basavareddy is enjoying life on the ATP Tour in his debut season and he will be eager to get a win under his belt in the main draw.

He has won two matches in qualifying against far more experienced opponents in Botic van de Zandschulp and Daniel Altmeier and now he faces another good test in Francisco Comesana.

Comesana is another Argentine that is far more comfortable on clay than hard courts but he will be hoping to take advantage of being handed a lucky loser spot.

He lost to Zizou Bergs in qualifying in three sets but has been handed a reprieve and will be hoping to get a win.

Basavareddy has to be favoured to win here and is much the stronger player on hard courts. The American can get his first win on the ATP Tour in a main draw here and progress to the round of 16.
