  • Morocco have kept five clean sheets in their last seven international matches.

Niger vs Morocco Prediction

Niger would be widely viewed as one of the weaker sides in Africa but Eritrea being disqualified from qualification has benefitted them with the group being reduced to just five teams. They begin the fourth match day of the Group E campaign sitting second in the table.

Niger have managed two victories with one defeat in their opening three matches, scoring five goals and conceding two in the process. Their most recent FIFA-recognised outing saw them pull off a shock 2-1 defeat of Ghana in Accra but they still missed out on qualification for the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations.

After reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Walid Regragui’s side are favourites for the aforementioned 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations this year with the Atlas Lions’ squad arguably even better than what it was in 2022. The north Africans have won three from three in FIFA World Cup qualification and are now on a ten-match unbeaten run of form.

Their last defeat came in dramatic circumstances against South Africa in last year’s AFCON Round of 16 but that can be put down as an anomaly and they are expected to win this one comfortably once again.
