Nice vs Rangers Prediction

Nice have a lot of work to do in the Europa League as they are still waiting for their first league phase victory after four outings, with two draws and two defeats to date. They must have thought they were heading for three points at home to Twente last time out after going 2-0 up, but they the could not hold out and had to settle for a share of the spoils in a match where both teams finished with ten men.

This is in contrast to their solid league form, where the French side are unbeaten in their last eight contests and have only lost twice in their 12 Ligue 1 encounters. Given their need for points in Europe, Franck Haise is likely to go with a strong line-up here as they look to move into the play-off places.

Rangers are sitting more comfortably having collected seven points from their four games, beating Malmo and FCSB either side of a defeat to Lyon, while their most recent league phase outing was a 1-1 draw at Olympiakos.

Given the fact Philippe Clement's side are 11 points off the pace in the Scottish Premiership, they will not take their foot off the gas in Europe and, like Nice, are unlikely to make too many personnel changes for this one.

With Nice determined to register their first win in the competition and Rangers having scored in all their Europa League outings this season, both teams finding the net is a likely outcome.
