Nice vs Lyon Prediction

Franck Haise had a slow start to life as Nice boss but they have been improving as the season has gone on and they now come into this one on the back of a good run of form as they challenge for a top three finish and automatic qualification for the UEFA Champions League. They most recently defeated Saint-Etienne by three goals to one at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard last weekend thanks to goals from Pablo Rosario and Evann Guessand as well as an own goal. They have now enjoyed four successive victories in Ligue 1. They now face an Olympique Lyonnais side that defeated Stade Brest by two goals to one at Parc OL last weekend with Paulo Fonseca losing his cool with the referee late on, so much so that he has been handed a nine-month ban from being in the dugout for Ligue 1 fixtures by the league. They have been very strong under Fonseca, though, since his appointment in January. They most recently defeated FCSB by three goals to one in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie in Bucharest the other day. These are two strong and in-form sides with both teams scoring seeming a good bet.

Nice vs Lyon Tip: Both teams to score
