THE PREDICTION

Green Bay Packers suffered a humiliating loss in week 1 of the new season as they were blown away by New Orleans Saints. Things got so bad for the Packers that they pulled QB Aaron Rodgers to hand understudy Jordan Love some game time with no chance of forcing their way back into the contest. The Saints executed a brilliant gameplan to keep the Packers defense on the field for long periods while they also did a superb job of limiting Rodgers’ influence on the game. They will look to bounce back from that loss as they take on NFC North rivals Detroit Lions, a team also 0-1. The Lions looked set for a heavy defeat to San Francisco 49ers before a late rally put them back into contention, closing to within one score. However, their comeback efforts fell short and with their defense looking porous, a Green Bay team out to right the wrongs of last week should come out on top on home turf, making it five straight wins against the Lions.
