It has been an underwhelming season for both Atlanta Falcons and New
Orleans Saints, although the latter could still force their way into the
play-offs with a win here. They would also need San Francisco 49ers to
lose to Los Angeles Rams to secure their berth and having won three of
their last four games, the Saints will at least fancy their chances of
holding up their part of the deal. The Falcons have stuttered towards
the business end of the season and while they are capable of prevailing,
they have won just one of their last four home games so the Saints are
given the slight preference in this one.
