THE TEAM NEWS
BUFFALO BILLS
- Buffalo Bills continued their strong start to the season as they improved to 4-0 with a win over Las Vegas Raiders last week and they will be confident of another victory as they take on a Tennessee Titans outfit that have faced plenty of disruption of late.
- The Bills, led by QB Josh Allen, have looked particularly strong on offense and whilst their defense is not yet where they will want it to be, they look like they have the team to progress deep into the post-season.
- Despite the long week to prepare for this clash, the Bills still have numerous players who carry a questionable tag into this game with WR John Brown and OL Cody Ford amongst those needing to prove their fitness.
TENNESSEE TITANS
- Tennessee Titans have been overcome with a COVID-19 outbreak which forced last week’s game with Pittsburgh Steelers to be moved to later in the season and despite plenty of doubt over this Week 5 clash, it will go ahead.
- Numerous positive tests have closed the Titans’ facility so a lot of their work has been done virtually and that in itself poses issues for them to overcome as they face the undefeated Buffalo Bills.
- The Titnas are also unbeaten at 3-0 but have a handful of players out because of COVID protocols whilst there are also questions marks surrounding the fitness of WR A.J. Brown with a knee issue.
THE PREDICTION
This game has been a long time coming for the Tennessee Titans who will hope to put their COVID-19 woes behind them as they take on Buffalo Bills. The contest finally got the go-ahead following a move to Tuesday from its original slot on Sunday afternoon to allow the Titans to come through further testing and they will be relieved to get this game underway. There are question marks surrounding how the players will cope having been unable to frequently practice together after their facility was closed and despite being 3-0, they could struggle in this clash. The Bills are 4-0 and have looked very good to start the season with the road team likely to be remain undefeated here.
