New Zealand Warriors Team News: No changes to 17 for the Warriors

Despite a miserable 30-8 loss in Las Vegas to the Canberra Raiders, the Warriors have some work to do in all facets coming into round two. They will welcome the return home but they will be all too aware that they have significant improvements to make and the offensive side of the game is one area where there was a lot of criticism in Vegas. Coach Andrew Webster names the same 17 for this match and he will be demanding a response.

Manly Sea Eagles Team News: Confidence high for dynamic Sea Eagles

The Manly Sea Eagles are coming off an outstanding 42-12 win over the North Queensland Cowboys and confidence is understandably sky high. They would surely have gone unchanged after such an impressive display but Siosiua Taukeiaho will be out for a week with a knee issue so Josh Aloiai comes in for him at prop in what is the only change.

New Zealand Warriors vs Manly Sea Eagles Prediction

Contrasting results for the two teams in the first round of the new season and the Warriors especially will be hoping to put in a much-improved display. The extra break following their opening match in Vegas will likely benefit them so they can get as much training in ahead of this match but they will have to notably improve.

They face a Manly side that was excellent in their opening match and they will be fired up to continue their impressive form.

The Warriors typically do not have such a good record at home so while they will relish the home comforts, it is seemingly not such a big advantage.

They have plenty to work on right now and it is hard to see them improving enough to stop the Tom Trbojevic-inspired Sea Eagles.
