New Zealand Betting Analysis

Jacob Duffy is a player on the fringes of New Zealand’s first XI and this series represents a huge opportunity for him to state his case with the ball. The first T20i saw him do just that, Duffy taking four wickets for the loss of just 14 runs across 3.4 overs. The right-arm pacer will be full of confidence after that showing and backing Duffy to follow it up with over 1.5 match wickets in the second game has to be favoured.

Pakistan Betting Analysis

After being bowled out for their lowest ever T20i score on New Zealand soil last time out, a strong response is needed with the bat. The man to help provide that could well be Shadab Khan. Whilst he was dismissed for just three in the opening match, Shadab’s experience counts for plenty in this situation. He’s the sort of character who can put that game behind him and bounce back with immediate effect. With that in mind, consider a stake on Shadab to finish as Pakistan’s top batter here.

New Zealand vs Pakistan Expert Prediction

New Zealand were utterly dominant last time out and it’s hard to see Pakistan turning things around in hurry when taking into account their recent slump in form. Even without some big names, the Black Caps have all bases covered with the ball and enough depth down the order to ensure a sizeable number of runs whether they are setting or chasing their target. Whilst the forecasted rain is a concern, backing New Zealand is still a move worth making.
