New Zealand Preview: Professional job sees them through

After beating Pakistan in the opening match of the tournament, New Zealand kept their composure against Bangladesh, ultimately winning by five wickets to book their place in the last four with a game to spare. Chasing 237, the Black Caps made it home in 46.1 overs, meaning they’ve now claimed victories both batting and bowling first, a positive sign moving forward.

India Preview: Class tells in the end

Another ICC major tournament, another victory for India against Pakistan. Bowling first, India dismissed their biggest rivals for just 241, which they proceeded to chase down in just 42.3 overs and with six wickets remaining. Virat Kohli was the scourge of Pakistan once again, scoring a magnificent unbeaten century to guide India home with no risk, maintaining their 100% record in the group stage.

New Zealand Betting Analysis

New Zealand seem to have unearthed a gem in Rachin Ravindra when it comes to international tournaments. After shining at the ICC Cricket World Cup back in 2023, Ravindra is performing well again in 50-over competition, this time the ICC Champions Trophy and backing him to record a score of 30+ runs via the ‘Batter Milestones’ market is well worth considering.

India Betting Analysis

After his brilliant knock against Pakistan, it would be no surprise whatsoever if Virat Kohli flexed his muscles once again on the big stage for India. He is a true superstar of the game and arguably the greatest 50-over batter of all-time, the style of this particular format is just tailored so perfectly for him. Back Kohli to finish as India’s top batter once again.

New Zealand vs India Expert Prediction

Top spot means the carrot has been dangled to both of these two nations, who will each want to go into the semi-finals with their 100% record intact. New Zealand can match India’s bowling but whether they have the batting depth to compete with this juggernaut of a side remains to be seen, especially when considering how well India are playing right now.

Being in Dubai hugely benefits India, who are playing all their games on the same ground, whilst New Zealand have had to move country in a short period of time. This factor is arguably the biggest of all and shouldn’t be underestimated. With that in mind, back a third straight group stage win for India.
