Netherlands Preview: Oranje on the run
Ronald Koeman managed to lead the Netherlands to the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2024 with an impressive set of performances and results before eventually losing to England by two goals to one at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Hungary have been a thorn in the side of many major European teams in the last half a decade or so but they were underwhelming at UEFA EURO 2024 this summer, heading out in the group stages despite defeating Scotland in their final group game.
The Hungarians’ draw with the Netherlands during the October international break was followed by an impressive 2-0 defeat of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo a few days later with a brace from Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

Netherlands vs Hungary Prediction
Ronald Koeman has been able to get the Netherlands perhaps playing at a level above their capabilities but they have still found it tough against some middling sides such as Greece in UEFA EURO 2024 qualification and Hungary in this campaign. The Hungarians will be rigid and difficult to play against with Marco Rossi’s relationist style of football but the Dutch remain favourites in what could end up being quite a fun watch for the neutral.
