Navajo Stirling: Unbeaten Kiwi makes UFC debut
Navajo Stirling (5-0) makes his UFC debut after just five professional MMA fights as he impressed during Dana White’s Contender Series. The Kiwi powerhouse knocked out Phillip Latu in what was his fourth successive knockout and he is ready to make a major impact in the light heavyweight division. The Auckland native has a kickboxing background and has plenty of confidence in his own abilities.
Tuco Tokkos: Brit looking to get first UFC win on the board
Tuco Tokkos (10-4) is aiming to get off the mark in the UFC after he lost on his debut against Oumar Sy at UFC Fight Night 241. He suffered a face crank submission in that bout to deflate his debut but he returns here looking to get off the mark. He has done incredibly well on the domestic circuit but his loss on his debut and in a Road to UFC bout back in 2022, suggests he may not be at the UFC level.
Navajo Stirling vs Tuco Tokkos Prediction
This is one of the more one-sided bouts on paper on this card as much-hyped debutant Navajo Stirling enters the UFC and meets Tuco Tokkos.
Stirling has built quite a reputation in a short period of time and he will be looking to make his mark here. He has spoken about his high expectations to rise to the top and he speaks in a way that is easy to believe.
Tokkos has some pedigree but this feels like a match-up designed to make Stirling impress. It would be a serious shock if he did not win and while Tokkos is game, he should not cause the newcomer any issues. Expect a knockout win for the Kiwi.
Prediction: Navajo Stirling to win by KO/TKO
