Nathan Aspinall is grinding away for his points at the moment and is somehow managing to overcome dartitis to stay in the hunt for the playoff places. The Asp sits two points off the top four at the moment and could break into the playoff positions with a decent run in Berlin.

The Stockport thrower didn't make much of an impression in the two Players Championship events early this week, but his big-stage game is certainly there at the moment.

The nightmare continues for Stephen Bunting though, who was on the end of a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Luke Littler last week.
