Moyuka Uchijima vs Kamilla Rakhimova prediction

Moyuka Uchijima made some strides in February by qualifying for the Dubai Tennis Championships and then getting her first win over a top 30 opponent by beating Jelena Ostapenko, before losing in the second-round to Elena Rybakina.

Her more recent events have seen her get past the first-round stage at both Sunshine Double tournaments but then lose out to Coco Gauff and Anna Kalinskaya respectively. She is seeded five here and must hope she can get a string of wins as part of the beginning of her clay court season. 

She faces Kamilla Rakhimova, who has struggled for any kind of form this season, with a won/loss record of 3/10. 

They have never played on clay before but Rakhimova does lead the head-to-head 2-1 and won their last encounter in October last year at round one of the Wuhan Open. We think Uchijima will get her revenge with victory here, though it may take her three sets.
