Montpellier vs Monaco Prediction
Montpellier Herault, despite already sacking one manager Michel Der Zakarian and replacing him with former Ivory Coast boss Jean-Louis Gasset, appear destined for Ligue 2 this season. They sit rock-bottom and come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Angers last weekend. They now face a Monaco side that were held to a 1-1 draw by Stade de Reims last week before suffering defeat on penalties in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France to mean that Adi Hutter’s Monegasque have managed just seven victories in their last 19 matches across all competitions. Monaco are still expected to win this one, though, and it may well be good value, too, given their poor form.
