TAYLOR LAPILUS: PARISIEN FAVOURITE ON HOME SOIL
Taylor Lapilus is in his second spell in the UFC as he had previously been with the organisation back in 2015-16. The 32-year-old has amassed a 20-4 record over the years and he is coming off a decent win over Cody Stamann via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 57 in June. He has won seven of his last eight bouts and will be confident fighting on home soil.
VINCE MORALES: VANDETTA RETURNS TO THE UFC
Vince Morales has been handed a second chance in the UFC and he will be motivated to take the opportunity. After being released following back-to-back losses in 2022, he has since reeled off five successive wins to earn another shot in the big time. He returns with a 16-7 record and he will be desperate to get a win under his belt in the Octagon.
TAYLOR LAPILUS VS VINCE MORALES PREDICTION
Home favourite Taylor Lapilus is strongly fancied to get the win in this bout and it does feel like it is one of those well-selected bouts by the matchmakers looking for a hometown win. Lapilus has been dominated on the European circuit but he does have plenty of pedigree from his two spells in the UFC.
He should be too strong all-round for Morales who will come into this fights with good confidence but is not the level of Lapilus. Expect the hometown hero to get the win, most likely by decision.
