RYAN SPANN: SUPERMAN DESPERATE TO SNAP THREE-FIGHT WIN SKID

Ryan Spann (21-10) has not had the best time of it of late having lost his last three fights in the UFC. His last fight in April saw him suffer a second-round TKO loss to Bogdan Guskov and it seems a long time ago since his last win in November 2022 when he knockout Dominic Reyes. He now looks to get back on track with a much-needed win to stay relevant in the organisation.

OVINCE SAINT PREUX: 44-FIGHT VETERAN LOOKING FOR BACK-TO-BACK WINS

Ovince Saint Preux has had a somewhat disrupted last couple of years for one reason or another but he will be looking forward to returning to action and improving on his 27-17 record here. He comes off a split decision win over Kennedy Nzechukwu at a UFC Fight Night event back in March and he will look for his successive victories in the UFC since 2017.

RYAN SPANN VS OVINCE SAINT PREUX PREDICTION

This match is very much one that has been ears in the making and Ryan Spann and Ovince Saint Preux finally get it on in the Octagon (hopefully!). There were some rumours of this fight getting made back in 2020 and then when it was postponed due to Saint Preux struggling with illness, it seemed destined not to happen. The matchmakers have stuck to their guns and we finally get to see the two face off.

This has all the makings of a really interesting fight between two high quality technicians. There are signs that both of them are in the twilight of their UFC careers now, but they should blend nicely to make an entertaining fight.

Spann has lost his last three while Saint Preux has not won two fights in a row since 2017. Saint Preux is hugely experienced but he has had a really disrupted last 18 months especially and we can just see the more active Spann being better prepared here. That said, this really is a bout that could go either way and we strongly recommend staying clear of this one from a betting perspective.

PREDICTION: FIGHT NOT TO GO THE DISTANCE
