ARGENTINA FORM: CREEVY AIMS TO SIGN OFF ON HOME SOIL WITH A VICTORY

Argentina come into this leg of the Rugby Championship having won one and lost one in their battles with the All Blacks so they will be confident as they return to Buenos Aires to welcome the Wallabies here. Their form since the World Cup has been solid including a win and a loss against France too, so they have shown they are in good shape this summer.

AUSTRALIA FORM: WALLABIES LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK FROM CONSECUTIVE LOSSES

The Wallabies come into this match having lost successive matches against world champions South Africa so they will be looking to regain some form and confidence against the Pumas. They were outplayed in both of those matches and while they are clearly transitioning under their new head coach Joe Schmidt. They are very much a work in progress but that also means there is pressure on them every match especially after losses.

ARGENTINA VS AUSTRALIA PREDICTION

The Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi in Buenos Aires will be absolutely rocking for the farewell match of Agustin Creevy and they will also be fired up to provide a hostile welcome to the Wallabies.

Both teams need to respond after heavy losses last time out but it is the Pumas who will have the greater confidence with more factors in their favour.

The schedule has not overly been kind to Joe Schmidt and he tries to rebuild the Wallabies but that is the hand he has been dealt. It is hard to make a case for them getting a win but being competitive and keeping this close would probably be deemed as something of a success for them.

Expect the hosts to win but this is a tough one to judge on the handicap.

ARGENTINA VS AUSTRALIA TIP: ARGENTINA TO WIN
