OUMAR SY: UNBEATEN FRENCH STAR EAGER TO EXCEL ON BIG STAGE
The 28-year-old Parisian his looking to make strides in the UFC's light heavyweight division and he brings his unbeaten record and puts it on the line at UFC Fight Night 243. Sy has shown an impressive skill set so far with four knockouts, four submissions and two wins via decision. This does however represent a step up in quality compared to the previous opponents he has faced.
JUNG DA-WOON: KOREAN VET ON THREE-FIGHT SKID
Jung Da Woon may have the edge in experience at the highest level, but the Korean star has lost his last three fights in the UFC. He now faces the talented Sy with a degree of pressure on himself to get back to winning ways and snap this three-fight skid. 11 of his fifteen wins have come via knockout and he will be looking to stop the Frenchman right from the start.

This promises to be a highly entertaining fight on the prelims at UFC Paris. There is pressure on both fighters but for completely different reasons. Sy is the hometown favourite and has a 100% record to maintain.
On the other hand, Jung has lost his last three bouts and desperately needs to reverse this run of form in the Octagon.
Sy has not fought the same kind of calibre that Jung has, but there is enough in his performances to suggest he will have no trouble stepping up.
