Merab Dvalishvili wins via Unanimous Decision

Dvalishvili was scheduled to fight Ray Borg but unfortunately he had to withdraw due to the ongoing health issues of his young son. Gustavo Lopez stepped up to make his UFC debut at a catchweight of 140 lbs.

Dvalishvili was expected to dominate the late replacement and ragdoll him around the octagon. It was indeed one-sided with the Georgian landing a staggering 13 takedowns in the fight but Lopez showed a lot of heart and was able to fend off the submission attempts and defiantly see the bell.
